Overview
This is the Classic tour itinerary to visit Lhasa, Everest Base camp and the holy lake Namtso lake. If you are not used to the high altitude, then this is one of the best itineraries that cover the all the Lhasa main tourist sites like Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor street, Drepung and sera monastery with Gyantse Kumbum and Shigatse Tashi Lhunpho monastery.
Tourists can see much natural scenery like beautiful sacred lake Yamdrok tso and karo glacier with beautiful views of Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world from Everest Base Camp. Namtso Lake is the second largest alpine saline lake in Tibet with an altitude of 4,718 meters above sea level. Its surrealistic beauty will take your breath away in no time.

Arrival in Kathmandu and welcome by flowers garlands and transfer to Hotel. Short briefing about Tour and Evening welcome dinner in Typical Nepali Restaurant. Overnight in Hotel Apasara Boutique or Dom Himalaya on B/B Basis.
After breakfast; meeting with Cultural Guide then Full day City Sightseeing; Swayambunath ( Monkey Temple)- Sightseeing different monastery and stupas. Boudhanath (Biggest Buddhist Stupa) and sightseeing around the Stupa and Buddhist Monastery. Overnight in Hotel Apasara Boutique or Dom Himalaya on B/B Basis.
Departure Transport to Tribhuban Airport and Trans Himalayan flight to Tibet (1 hour flight to Gongaar airport tibet. Then Drive to Lhasa (1hr). Full rest day for acclimatization O/N at Kyichu Hotel.
Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Bazaar, Drepung Monastery & Sera Monastery. O/N at Kyichu Hotel.
Drive to Gyantse via Yamadroke Lake and high passes, Kora LA (5,010m) & Kamba La (4,794m). Sightseeing in Gyantse including Pholkor & Kumbum Monastery. PM: scenic drive to Xigatse(1.5hrs) through the typical Tibetan Countryside, O/N at Hotel Gesar.
Morning visit Panchen Lama’s Tashilhumpu Monastery. Then Drive to Xegar crossing over Gyatchula (a pass of 5,200m). Scenic drive to Ronbuk through the beautiful Tibetan countryside. Explore Ronbuk Monastery (highest monastery in the world), O/N at Everest View Hotel or Ronbuk Guest House.
Hike up to Everest BC and explore around. Then back to Ronbuk and drive back to Xigatse, O/N at Hotel Gesar.
Drive back to Lhasa O/N at Kyichu Hotel.
Departure to Gonggar airport and fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel Apasara Boutique or Dom Himalaya on B/B Basis.
